Managed + 100 site rapid installation and integration for T-Mobile, condensing 8 month project into 4 months. Managed 5 crews and 4 integrators 24/7. Reported directly to customer, T-Mobile Director, as well as my local management. Procured all funds for project, exceeding profitability expectations by 30%. Market Manager for Samsung Telecommunications of America, supporting the overall build out of the 4G/LTE. Directed the office and field operations for Claro Communications turnkey project consisting on the build out of new sites including Civil Work, Tower Installation and the installation of the Huawei UMTS and CDMA radio equipment, as well as, the equipment optimization and integration in conjunction with the MW equipment installation and integration on the client’s existing transport network to “Commercial On Air” status.

·   Hired the local civil engineering company with the Tower structural engineering, making sure they met the local and international safety standards, with the assistance of the construction managers and field supervisors.

·   Negotiated site leases, collocations agreements with Government buildings and TV stations.

Alaska Digitel, Anchorage, Fairbanks & Juneau                                                                               May 13, 2008 – March 27, 2009

Managed AK Digitel Site Development and Construction team with site acquisition, lease negotiations, Utility Coordination, site design, SOW, BOM, bid walks and subsequent awards to the selected General Contractor. Supervised the remote MW site equipment upgrades by coordinating helicopter fly schedules for site surveys, GC visits, material and equipment delivery, while maintaining the FAA and a Radio FM-TV tower informed of our daily activities. Managed material ordering, delivery and quality control on +100 sites.  Created team to expedite QA and QC and complete the close out package, before releasing the site to the client. Responsible for driving engineering results to include structural analysis, soil tests, regulatory, and installation of ROHN guyed towers as well as the installation of the coax lines. Drove successful installation and integration of helicopter chartered sites, which consisted of 30% of the network.

              Managed South Florida team as a Project/Construction Manager for the T-Mobile (3G) UMTS, and 2G Overlay, driving A&E for approximately 547 sites. Responsible for a fair and competitive bid process on all structural analysis and modification designs, bid submittals and awards to GCs. Developed structural failure synopsis categories to expedite modification approvals in excess of 25% of site cost.   Created efficient punch list and close out process to decrease re-work by 25% and improve final billing cycle by 30 days.

Coordinated the A&E and utility upgrades. Supported the site acquisition team and the GD engineering team with the initial phase of deploying the GSM 850, 1900 and the installation of the UMTS cabinets and equipment in Northern California for the Cingular Wireless project.
